Asset Management
VitalHops supports over 19 asset types across multiple categories, letting you build a complete picture of your estate. This guide covers how to add, manage, and track your assets.

Adding Your First Asset
- Navigate to the relevant asset category from the sidebar
- Click Add Asset or the + button
- Fill in the required details (name, type, value)
- Add optional details specific to the asset type
- Upload any supporting documents
- Click Save

Real Estate Properties
When adding a property, you can specify:
- Property type (Residential, Commercial, Agricultural, Industrial, Land)
- Full address with survey number
- Property size and unit (sq. ft.)
- Nature of holding (Freehold, Leasehold, Lease-cum-sale, Rental)
- Annual appreciation percentage
- Point of contact details
Vehicles
Track your vehicles with details including:
- Make, model, year, and color
- Registration number and VIN
- Fuel type and transmission
- Current mileage
- Annual depreciation rate
- Maintenance contact information
Bank Accounts
Manage all your bank accounts:
- Account types: Savings, Current, Fixed Deposit, Recurring Deposit, NRI, Salary
- Bank and branch name
- Account number and IFSC code
- Safety locker and FD numbers
- Nature of holding and contact details
Cryptocurrencies
Track your crypto holdings with:
- Cryptocurrency name and symbol
- Quantity held
- Purchase price and current market value
- Real-time price tracking via market data feeds
Insurance Policies
Document your insurance coverage:
- Insurance types: Life, Health, Motor, Home, Travel
- Provider and policy number
- Policy name and coverage details
- E-insurance account information
Mutual Funds
Track your mutual fund investments:
- Fund house (AMC) and folio number
- Category: Equity, Debt, Hybrid, ELSS, Index, Liquid
- NAV and number of units
- SIP details (amount, frequency, date)
- Risk level, exit load, and lock-in period

E-Wallets

Real-Time Price Tracking
VitalHops automatically tracks market prices for:
- Stocks — Real-time and historical price data
- Cryptocurrencies — Live market prices for major coins
- Precious Metals — Gold, silver, platinum, and palladium prices
Prices are updated automatically and reflected in your portfolio value calculations.
Document Attachments
Each asset can have supporting documents attached:
- Upload PDFs, images (PNG, JPG), and spreadsheets (XLS, XLSX)
- Documents are securely stored in encrypted cloud storage
- Download or preview documents anytime from the asset detail page
Editing and Deleting Assets
Editing an Asset
- Navigate to the asset from your dashboard or sidebar
- Click on the asset to view its details
- Click Edit to modify any information
- Save your changes
Deleting an Asset
- Open the asset detail page
- Click Delete
- Confirm the deletion
Deleting an asset also removes its nominee allocations and document attachments.
