Profile Management

Your VitalHops profile contains your personal information, contact details, and preferences. Keeping your profile complete and up to date is essential for account verification and nominee notifications.

Personal Information

Your profile includes the following personal details:

  • First Name and Last Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Religion and Nationality
  • Profile Photo (JPG or PNG, max 5MB)

Updating Your Photo

  1. Click on your profile avatar
  2. Upload a new image (JPG or PNG)
  3. Use the built-in cropping tool to adjust
  4. Save your changes

Contact Details

Email Address

Your email is your primary login credential and is used for:

  • Account verification and password resets
  • Security alerts and notifications
  • Keep Alive check-in reminders

Phone Number

Adding a verified phone number provides additional security:

  1. Navigate to Profile settings
  2. Enter your phone number with country code
  3. Verify using the OTP sent to your phone
  4. Your phone number will be marked as verified

Changing your phone number requires OTP verification and may require 2FA confirmation if enabled.

Address Information

VitalHops stores two types of addresses:

Current Address

Your present residential address including:

  • Street address
  • City and state
  • Country (default: UAE)
  • ZIP/Postal code

Home Address

Your permanent or home address, which may differ from your current address.

Profile Completion

VitalHops tracks your profile completion progress. A complete profile is required to:

  • Submit KYC verification documents
  • Access all platform features
  • Set up Keep Alive notifications

The profile completion alert will guide you through any missing information.

When completing your profile, you'll be asked to accept data processing consent. This covers:

  • Collection and storage of personal information
  • Processing of financial asset data
  • Sharing information with designated nominees when triggered
  • Compliance with applicable data protection regulations

Your consent is timestamped and can be reviewed at any time from your account settings.

Deleting Your Account

If you wish to delete your VitalHops account:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select Delete Account
  3. Verify your identity with your password or email
  4. Confirm the deletion

Account deletion is permanent and removes all your data including assets, nominees, documents, broker connections, and KYC information. You will be immediately logged out.
