The vHop assistant does more than answer questions now it can help you get things done. Ask it to add a nominee, assign one of your assets, record something you own, add an emergency contact, or set up Keep Alive, and it will confirm every detail with you before anything is saved.

• The assistant can do things for you. Ask it to add a nominee, assign one of your assets to a nominee, record a new asset, or add an emergency contact. It gathers the details, shows you exactly what it will do, and only saves after you tap Confirm and it never deletes anything.
• A confirmation step before every change. Nothing is saved until you review and approve it, so you're always in control.
• Help with Keep Alive. The assistant can point you to the right place to set up Keep Alive and help you get the pieces in place first, like adding a nominee and assigning an asset to them.
• Your profile photo in chat. Your picture now appears next to your messages in the assistant.

• Send longer messages. Press Shift+Enter to start a new line, so you can write multi-line questions and details to the assistant.
• A fair, self-refreshing allowance. Everyone gets a generous amount of assistant usage that refreshes on its own. If you reach it, you'll see a friendly countdown showing when it's ready again.
• More complete nominees. Adding a nominee now includes their email, age, and address, so their record is complete and ready when it matters.
• Faster profile pictures. Avatars across vHop now load faster and no longer re-download every time you move around the app.
• A gentle reminder. A small note lets you know the assistant can occasionally get things wrong, so you can double-check anything important.

Adding a photo or document is now dependable. Whenever you attach an image or file to any asset, your profile photo, ID verification, a nominee's ID card, or a bug report it uploads with a live progress bar, and saving waits until the upload has finished, so your files always make it.

• See your upload happen. A progress bar now stays visible the whole time you're saving, so you can watch your photo or document upload instead of guessing whether it went through.
• Save waits for your upload. The Save button stays busy until the upload is fully complete, so you can't accidentally save before a file has finished attaching.
• Your form can't close mid-upload. While an upload is in progress the form stays open, so a stray click or tap can't drop the file you were adding.
• Retry in one tap. If an upload doesn't go through, you'll see a clear message and can try again right away, without re-entering everything else on the form.
• The same everywhere. This dependable upload experience now applies across every asset, plus your profile photo, ID verification, nominee ID cards, and bug report screenshots.

• No more missing images. Photos and documents that occasionally didn't attach after saving now upload reliably every time.
• Larger files upload reliably. Bigger photos and documents that used to fail to attach now go through without a hitch.

Our biggest release yet. vHop now tracks your cryptocurrency for you: connect a wallet or an exchange account and your coins, balances, and live values are pulled in automatically and kept up to date, then folded right into your net worth, with no more adding each coin by hand. And your vehicles now show an estimated market value based on their age, mileage, and type, so what they're worth keeps up with the market instead of staying stuck at the price you paid.

• Connect a crypto wallet. Add your wallet's public address and vHop tracks the coins in it for you, across eight networks: Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, BNB Smart Chain, Bitcoin, Tron, and Solana.
• Connect an exchange account. Link Binance, Bybit, OKX, KuCoin, Kraken, Coinbase, Gate.io, or MEXC with a read-only key. vHop can only ever view your balances it can never trade, move, or withdraw your funds.
• Your holdings appear the moment you connect. Balances and their live values load right away, so there's nothing to wait for after linking a wallet or exchange.
• Everything stays up to date on its own. Your balances and prices refresh automatically in the background, so your crypto keeps pace with the market without you lifting a finger.
• Refresh whenever you want. A Sync now button pulls the very latest on demand, available a couple of times every 12 hours.
• Every coin, with its own logo. Holdings now show each coin's real icon instead of a generic placeholder, both on the Crypto page and across Your Assets.
• Crypto counts toward your net worth. Your live crypto value flows into your total Net Worth and the dashboard's Portfolio Overview, right alongside your other assets.
• Know what your vehicle is worth today. Every vehicle now shows an estimated market value based on its age, mileage, and type, so you can see how well it's held its value, not just what you paid. Refresh the estimate whenever you like, with a note of when it was last updated.

• One home for your crypto. Manage all your wallets, exchanges, and holdings from a single Crypto page. On Your Assets, crypto items now link straight there with View in Crypto, so everything's managed in one place.
• Disconnecting is clean. Removing a wallet or exchange also removes the coins it was tracking, so nothing is left behind.
• Made for your phone. The whole Crypto experience your holdings, wallets, and exchanges now fits neatly on smaller screens, with nothing cut off the edge and no sideways scrolling, so you can check your portfolio on the go.
• Easier to find support. The contact button in the top bar now uses a clear support icon, so it's obvious where to reach us for help.
• Price alerts now speak your currency. When gold, silver, platinum, or palladium makes a notable move during the day, your alert shows the price in the currency you've chosen AED, USD, or INR just like everywhere else in vHop. You'll also get a single, clear alert per metal each day instead of repeats and if a price moves while you're away, the alert is ready and waiting the next time you open vHop.
• Your vehicle's value keeps up with the market. A vehicle's current value and its change since purchase now reflect its estimated market value, and that feeds into your overall Net Worth.
• A clearer portfolio snapshot. Your dashboard now shows Total Invested right alongside your Net Worth and overall profit or loss, so you can see what you put in versus what everything's worth today at a glance.

• A tidier Documents page. Your crypto holdings no longer show up as empty files under All Documents the list now shows only the documents you've actually uploaded.

Tell us what's working and what isn't, right from your dashboard. A new Report Bug / Feedback option at the bottom of the sidebar lets you flag issues and rate your experience in just a few taps.

• Report a bug in seconds. From the new Report Bug / Feedback option at the bottom of the sidebar, give your issue a title and a description, and optionally attach a screenshot so we can see exactly what you saw.
• Rate your experience. A short, step-by-step feedback survey lets you give a star rating for the areas that matter most ease of use, speed, adding and organizing your assets, Nominees, your Documents vault, and the vHop AI Assistant then share what you like, what we could improve, and any suggestions. Let us know if you're happy for us to follow up.
• A "Beta" badge across vHop. You'll now see a small Beta badge next to the vHop logo as a reminder that we're still fine-tuning things and your feedback shapes what comes next.

We've given the VitalHops website a brand-new look and made getting started smoother than ever.

• A redesigned homepage. A cleaner, more modern landing page with refreshed navigation and a lively animated hero to welcome you.
• More interactive buttons. Key actions like Sign In, Sign Up, and Get Started now respond with a subtle animation as you hover.
• A clearer onboarding progress bar. As you set up your account, the step indicator animates through each stage so you can see exactly how far along you are, and step back to review a previous stage whenever you like.

• Onboarding now starts at the welcome screen. New members are greeted from the very first step, instead of occasionally starting partway through.

Signing up just got a little more flexible. You can now add an invite code when you create your account.

• Enter an invite code when you sign up. If you have an invite code, add it right on the Sign Up page, whether you register with your email or with Continue with Google.
• Invite links do the typing for you. Opening a shared invite link pre-fills your code, so you can finish signing up in one step.

This update gives you more control over how your estate is shared. Manage exactly which assets each nominee receives, choose which assets to distribute under Sharia law, and enjoy a smoother, more reliable sign-up.

• Assign assets to a nominee in one place. From a nominee, pick exactly which assets they should receive and set each asset's share, all from a single list.
• Remove an asset from a nominee. You can now unassign an individual asset from a nominee, with a quick confirmation, without deleting the nominee or the asset.
• Choose which assets to distribute under Sharia law. When setting up Islamic (Faraid) inheritance, you can now select exactly which of your assets to include, individually or with Select all, before shares are calculated and assigned.
• Add a nominee before you begin. Sharia distribution now guides you to add at least one nominee first, so every calculated share has someone to receive it.

• Clearer asset sharing. When splitting an asset across multiple nominees, you can no longer add the same person twice, and a running total shows how much is allocated and how much is left.
• Sign up without interruptions. If creating your account with your email and password doesn't go through, the Sign Up page now points you to Continue with Google, so you can get started right away.
• A tidier experience once you're signed in. The footer no longer shows Sign In or Create Account while you're logged in, and opening either page now takes you straight to your dashboard.

This release is about speed and reliable email. We've trimmed what your browser has to download and process before the app is ready, so the landing page appears faster, your dashboard becomes usable sooner, and everything feels snappier especially on slower or mobile connections. Nothing looks or behaves differently; it's just quicker. We've also moved to a more trusted email delivery system, so the account emails we send like verification codes, password resets, and security alerts now reliably reach your inbox instead of landing in spam.

• The landing page loads dramatically faster and uses far less data. The product videos now load only as you scroll to them, instead of all downloading the moment you arrive.
• Your dashboard is ready sooner. We removed unnecessary repeat requests that ran every time it opened, so your assets and totals show up faster.
• Faster first paint across the app. Analytics now load after the page is interactive instead of before it, fewer fonts are fetched upfront, and the app warms up its connection to our servers ahead of time.
• Quicker repeat visits. Images, icons, and videos are now cached more aggressively, so returning to the site loads even faster.
• Lighter main pages. Heavier features like the AI chat assistant now load on demand, and we shrank the app icon, so the pages you use most carry less weight.

• Our emails now land in your inbox, not your spam folder. Account emails like verification codes, password resets, welcome messages, and security alerts are now sent through a new, more trusted delivery system, so they arrive reliably and on time instead of getting caught by spam filters.

Our biggest quality-of-life release yet. The headline change: editing an asset now shows every detail you entered when you added it from a property's full address and purchase year to a stock's share count, a vehicle's purchase price, or a fund's scheme name across every asset type, so nothing is hidden or quietly dropped. Around that, every add, edit, or delete now gives you a clear confirmation message, your Financial Health Score waits for real data instead of greeting a brand-new account with a discouraging number, and loans count only toward your liabilities and net worth instead of inflating your assets. We've also added About, Terms, and Privacy pages, labelled each browser tab with the page you're on, tightened the Sign Up form, made sure you only ever see the asset types you've enabled, cleared cached data on sign-out, and smoothed the home page so it fits every screen without sideways scrolling.

• New About, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy pages, reachable from the footer. They show a short "coming soon" note for now, with full content on the way and the footer links finally lead somewhere instead of going nowhere.

• Adding, editing, or deleting anything properties, loans, nominees, financial assets, jewellery, vehicles, businesses, e-wallets, and everything else now shows a clear confirmation message every time, with matching wording across the whole app. If something goes wrong, you'll always see a clear error message too.
• Editing an asset now shows the same details you entered when you added it nothing is hidden or quietly dropped. This applies across properties, stocks, bank & financial assets, cryptocurrencies, gold and other metals, insurance, mutual funds, and vehicles.
• Editing a property now has separate No. & Street, City, and State boxes instead of one combined "Location" line, and lets you change the year of purchase, appreciation rate, survey/plot number, nature of holding, and point of contact again. Your existing properties keep all their saved details.

• Each dashboard page now shows its own name in the browser tab like "Dashboard - vHop" or "Portfolio - vHop" instead of the same long title on every page.
• Resolved a display issue on the Changelog page that could briefly show the wrong date and trigger a warning in some browsers.
• Opening a page while signed out now sends you straight to the login screen no more brief flash of the page beforehand and once you sign in, you'll land back on the page you were trying to reach.
• The Add Asset button now actually starts adding it opens a quick category picker so you can jump straight to the right asset page, instead of landing on an empty list.
• Loans are no longer counted as assets on the dashboard. Previously, adding a loan would wrongly bump the "digital" count under Assets Value a loan now only affects your Liabilities and Net Worth, where it belongs.
• The Add Nominee form now shows a clear message right under the ID card box when one is missing, instead of a pop-up that only appeared after you pressed Save. Alternate Phone is also no longer required, since it's an optional backup number.
• The Sign Up form now catches empty fields and invalid email addresses right in the browser, matching the Login and Contact forms, so simple mistakes are flagged before you submit.
• The Financial Health Score on the vHop AI Assistant page no longer shows a discouraging number built from no data. A brand-new account with no assets or loans now sees a friendly prompt to add its first asset or loan, instead of a misleading 28/100.
• Fixed the score's part-ratings too: Debt Health no longer shows a perfect 100% when you have a loan but no assets to back it, and Performance is now hidden until there are assets to measure, instead of showing a made-up 50.
• Safety Locker and Fixed Deposit country and city are now saved when you add or edit a bank/financial asset previously these were collected but silently lost.
• You can now change the bank account type (Savings, Current, NRI, etc.) when editing a bank account.
• Editing a vehicle's current value no longer overwrites its original purchase price, so your profit/loss stays accurate.
• Editing a custom metal (Other Metal) no longer loses its metal type or its Stored in Bank Vault setting.
• Editing a cryptocurrency now lets you update the coin, wallet/exchange, and purchase month/year, not just the name and amount.
• Editing a stock now lets you correct the number of shares, stock symbol, and purchase month/year, not just its name and value so a wrong share count no longer means deleting and re-adding it.
• You can now edit or delete a stock straight from the Stocks page using the "…" menu on each row, the same way every other category page works, instead of having to find it under Your Assets.
• Nature of Holding is editable again when editing an insurance policy or a mutual fund.
• You can now change the purchase date when editing an insurance policy or a mutual fund, too.
• The purchase date is now editable when editing gold & other metals, jewellery, watches, bank & financial assets, and custom/other assets as well so a wrong date can be corrected without deleting and re-adding the item.
• Gold & other metals now save the purchase date you set and show it in your metals table previously the date couldn't be changed and wasn't listed anywhere. Editing the purchase date on a mutual fund now sticks after saving, instead of appearing blank the next time you open it.
• Purchase dates now appear at the level you actually entered them: items you record by month (metals, stocks, crypto) show as "Mar 2020", and items you record by year (property, vehicles) show just the year instead of a made-up day like "1" that you never picked.
• The Scheme Name field in the Add Mutual Fund form now keeps exactly what you type. Previously your typed name was discarded and replaced with a generic auto-generated one (often just "Mutual Fund"), so funds could never be saved under their real scheme name.
• The app now reliably shows only the asset types you've enabled. After signing in (most often with Google sign-in) you could briefly see categories you never turned on, and opening one would fail with a "This asset type is not enabled" error. Your enabled types now stay accurate across sign-ins, page loads, and restarts no refreshing or signing in again required.
• Signing out now fully clears your cached data, so if someone signs in on the same browser right after, they'll never catch a flash of the previous person's assets, nominees, or portfolio.
• The home page no longer scrolls sideways on tablets (and the tiny shift on phones is gone too). On narrower screens the top menu now tucks neatly into a tap-to-open menu, so the page fits your screen edge to edge without a stray horizontal scrollbar.

Every email we send has been redesigned around one clean, consistent look so messages from VitalHops are easier to read and instantly recognizable.

• All VitalHops emails welcome, email verification, password reset, security and login alerts, two-factor notifications, Keep Alive reminders, nominee notices, and your activity summary now share a single modern design with clearer headings, easier-to-read text, and a consistent button style.
• Emails now look great on any device and adapt automatically to your device's light or dark mode.
• Verification and security codes are now shown in a clear, easy-to-copy format, with expiry details called out simply beneath them.
• Every message is now consistently branded as VitalHops across its heading, content, and subject line.

• Jewellery is now spelled consistently across the app, including in the sidebar under Physical Assets.
• Image previews for Loan documents now show the actual image instead of just the file name, with a clear fallback if an image can't be loaded.
• Downloading a document from the Loan section now saves the file correctly instead of showing a "page not found" error.
• You can now add and manage nominees for your E-wallets straight from the edit screen — the Add Nominee button is fully working.

Small touches to make signing up easier to understand, starting with a clearer reason for the details we ask you to share.

• The Religion field during sign-up now explains why we ask. Tap or hover the new info icon next to the label to learn that your religion is used to determine how your assets are distributed according to applicable inheritance rules.
• The vHop AI Insights section on your dashboard is now much easier to read: larger text and stronger contrast make insight descriptions, metric details, and labels clear at a glance in both light and dark mode.
• The summary cards on your Dashboard and Portfolio pages now share the same size, spacing, and proportions, so both pages look consistent at a glance.

• If you signed up with Google, you'll now see a one-time prompt on your dashboard inviting you to set a password. Adding one lets you sign in with your email and password too, and unlocks Two-Factor Authentication for extra security. Prefer to do it later? Just choose Skip for now we'll only ask this once, and you can always set a password from your profile settings.

Your whole dashboard can now speak your currency. Pick AED, US Dollars, or Indian Rupees and every amount updates instantly. Plus, see what your metals are really worth at a glance with the new Live Rates tab.

• Choose your display currency in Settings: switch the entire dashboard between AED (د.إ), US Dollars ($), and Indian Rupees (₹). Every amount net worth, assets, liabilities, loans, charts, and more converts automatically using up-to-date exchange rates, with the correct symbol and number formatting for each currency. Your choice is saved to your account and remembered across devices.
• A currency that's right from the start: new accounts now begin in the currency that matches where you sign up, Indian Rupees (₹) in India, UAE Dirhams (د.إ) in the UAE, and US Dollars ($) everywhere else. It's only a starting point, you can change it anytime in Settings, and your choice stays the same no matter where you log in from afterwards.
• New Live Rates tab on the Precious Metals page showing, for gold, silver, platinum, and palladium: the international spot price per troy ounce alongside the actual price per gram and per 12 grams, broken down by purity (24K/22K/21K/18K for gold, and the equivalent grades for the other metals).
• Live rates update automatically and follow your currency setting, so you can view them in AED, USD, or INR.

• Your asset visibility choices now apply more consistently across the app, so the dashboard, sidebar, and asset pages stay focused on just the asset types you've selected in Settings.
• Each section's "Other" page (Physical, Financial, Business, and Digital) now appears whenever you're tracking at least one asset type in that section, giving you a place for the odds and ends.

• Your metals holdings now show a clear metal name (for example, "Gold") instead of the market ticker (XAU), and a custom metal shows the name you gave it.

A few quality-of-life improvements to make signing up, entering your phone number, setting your password, and adding nominees smoother.

• Signing up with Google is now quicker, you're no longer asked to create a password before you can get started. You can set one anytime from your profile, and we'll only prompt you to set one when you turn on two-factor authentication or delete your account.
• New phone number experience during sign up and in your profile: pick your country from a searchable flag and dial code list, and we show the country code for you so you only type your local number. The field now accepts numbers only and won't let you enter more digits than your country's numbers allow.
• During onboarding you no longer need to confirm your phone number with an emailed code, just enter it and continue.
• Adding a nominee is cleaner: the "Is Minor?" option now hides automatically once you enter an adult age, so the form only shows what's relevant.

• Fixed an issue where setting a new password could be rejected for "not meeting requirements" even when every item on the checklist was already met. The requirements you see are now exactly what's enforced and if a password is rejected for being too common, you'll get a clear message explaining why.

We're pleased to confirm that VitalHops is fully back online and operating normally. Thank you for your patience during the recent downtime.

• Introduced a maintenance mode: if we ever need to take sign-in and account areas offline for planned upkeep, you'll now see a clear "we'll be right back" page instead of errors — and the rest of the site (home, blog, docs and pricing) stays available the whole time.
